January 2013 – Daytona Beach, FL – Same place, same race, same month – but a new year and a new car for Alegra Motorsports which has made the switch to the Riley chassis package in the Daytona Prototype ranks of the Grand-Am Series for the upcoming Rolex 24 at Daytona.

ANZE has provided brand new dampers for the chassis after working with Alegra in 2012.

Testing let to a baseline set-up, then dampers were swamped out to new ANZE dampers with regressive technology.

Alegra chief engineer Larry Hahn said they were spot on, with no adjustments required out of the box.

Better yet, clocked speed in the banking at Daytona came in at 197mph – faster than the rest of the field.
