2011 Spring is in the Air!

Locust Valley, NY (March 2011) - Once again our lack of updates is due to ANZE Suspension being very, very, busy working on projects to make our customers go faster.

Jeff Werth had great results at this year's Sering Quad National in his ANZE Suspension equipped 1992 AS Camaro: 4 lap records, 4 pole positions and 3 wins! Incredible results! The best part is the Racekeeper video posted on YouTube with a suspension cam. Sebring doesn't look so bumpy when the car is on ANZE.

Speaking of records Tony Palo in his T1 Race Development FWD Integra drag car ran 8.57 sec @ 183.8 mph a new class and personal record! Congratulation's Tony! The T1 Integra is equipped with custom ANZE Suspension. You can see the video on YouTube.

Along with our other Gen 1 CTS-V offerings we now have the new Gen 1 CTS-V Inline Double. Following installation and a test drive the owner reports: "WOW! The car handle's better and smoother than stock, no ride harshness at all. Amazing! The only weak point on the car now is the tires. If you think race shocks are too stiff think again. Don't waste your money on those other so called shocks. ANZE Suspension is engineering at its finest! "

We have new product offerings coming to the catalog as this is written. Newly available from ANZE Suspension are top quality sway bar drop links for virtually any application, Hydraulic load centering spring perches which increase grip and reduce damper wear, and of course our universal remote canister brackets. If you have remote canisters, and you don't have a set of these contact us now. They can improve shock performance and longevity.

For some installations we can't seem to find mounting solutions that meet our standards so we're designing new shock mounts for some applications. These will be available in the product catalog soon.

We've been signing up new dealers and some are creating their own custom ANZE Suspension packages. These are sure to be the best money you can spend on your car to improve it. We're updating the dealers page frequently but check our Facebook Wall for up to date news items, dealer announcements, and product updates.

2010 Mid-Year Report

Locust Valley, NY (May 2010) - Excuse our lacks of updates, it's a good thing. From Bahrain on a CTS-V race car to testing at an undisclosed location with Porsche Patron GT3 Challenge cars, 2010 has been a busy year for ANZE Engineering.

Following GT3 testing, a Porsche test driver reported: "We did sweeps of all the adjusters, and ended up back at the baseline damper settings, it was great out of the box. I am impressed with the ANZE stuff. We were over a second quicker at the test track just by bolting them on."

And there is more: ANZE introduced new valving on the ADSA/Wright trio of F2000 Championship Series Van Diemens. Andy Wolverton reset two track records at Hallett in his T2 Pontiac Solstice on ANZE products. Another ANZE customer, Mcginley, in a T1 Corvette shattered a track record too.

Don't forget ANZE's assault into the Castrol Canadian Touring Car series either; it seems the paddock is dropping like dominoes to bolt on ANZE equipment.

Patrick Seguin, who pilots the #80 EP3 Honda Civic commented: "Our team had a great rookie season in the Castrol Canadian Touring Car series last season, finishing fourth in the touring class. Going forward, we purchased an EP3 Honda Civic that came with some high-end off the shelf 2-way adjustable suspension.

"While testing the new race car, we where running more then respectable times but we knew that it wouldn’t be enough for a top 3 finish. We went back to the same track for testing early this week with our news ANZE 2-way adjustable suspension and knocked a little more then a second off our lap times with the simple base tune."

Newman Racing Installs ANZE Racing Struts

Connecticut (May 9 2009) - - One of the last "fun" vehicles to come out of Newman Racing was a just completed with the final touch, a set of custom ANZE Racing Struts. The project took life as a Volvo V90 luxury car with a shoe horned 2006 LS2 Corvette engine. This project was going along well until the team realized they need to get through the corners too, and the stock front struts were not going to cut it. The team knew that ANZE Suspension could make a set to fit, as there was no off the shelf "high performance" front strut application available for this Volvo.

The team gathered at "the shop" to finish the car and take it out on a "shake down" run. The car was removed from the scales, a dealer tag thrown on, and four members of the team climbed into the four-door Volvo. After the completing the city loop and around town stops for lunch, the driver decided to head to the highway, more particularly, the on and off ramps, no doubt the back seat passengers had some influence on this.

"Well we were all impressed, the car stuck like glue had little roll but was comfortable to drive anywhere," said Pete Traglia of Newman Racing.

Special Thanks to Newman Racing, Pete Traglia, and PLN.

Run Offs Testing Starts Out Early

Garrettsville, OH (March 28 2009)- ANZE Engineering recently completed a private test day at Nelson Ledges with an undisclosed T2 car. ANZE Suspensions owner and chief engineer Angelo Zarra was on hand to thoroughly test out several new piston and valving combinations on an already potent T2 damper package. Other elements of the package were also base-lined and improved upon.

"I am amazed at what we accomplished in one day. Every time we took the shocks out of the car and re-valved them, we went faster. The car got easier to drive, I could do this all day long," said the test driver and car owner.

"The car is the fastest it's ever been. We accomplished more here in one day with ANZE than I would have in an entire year. My program has progressed more than I could ever imagine. Well worth the time and money, I am very happy."

"It was a great opportunity to test our new valving and piston combinations," said ANZE president Angelo Zarra, "We spent allot of time on the dyno and looking at data from the past year, we came to the track prepared with a new combination and it showed."

Zabinski SolsticeOctober 12, 2007- Zabinski -Qualifies 1st in a car built at the track.

TOPEKA, Kan. (October 12, 2007) Ed Zabinski came to the run offs with his Lotus Elise expecting that it was the car to have and that it would do the job in getting him on the podium. After several practice sessions Ed found himself struggling to keep up with several competitors. He realized that all of those cars ahead of him were the same make of car and from the same race team. Joe Aquilante's Phoenix Performance Group had unleashed a new rocket for T2, The Pontiac Solstice - GXP. Phoenix Performance had spent a great deal of time testing with GM, ANZE Engineering and Don Knowles to develop the suspension of this platform, making sure that it would outperform the competition.

After some discussion Ed purchased an new unfinished Solstice from Phoenix Performance and had it shipped from Pennsylvania to Heartland Park in hopes of converting it to T-2 spec in time for the next days qualifying session. Angelo Zarra, the owner of ANZE said "if you get the car here, I will make sure we will have the shocks here to qualify on". The car made its overnite journey in time for the anxiously awaiting team to finalize the build. Everybody pitched in from Phoenix Performance, GM and ANZE Engineering to make it happen. It took the better part of a day to complete even coming down to the wire with a few laps around the paddock area right before the qualifying session.

"The car was flawless, thanks to everyone that helped out", said Zabinski.

"The Old days of 'bolt on and go fast' are gone--that will get mostly get you to the middle of the pack. teams have realized that with more and more restrictions on top speed, horsepower and/or aerodynamics, the last key area to exploit is how fast you can go around the corner, or how well your suspension setup works.........
